Our local’s work is spread amongst infrastructure, high and low-rise projects and various kinds of industrial work.

Our large jurisdiction has mostly seen steady demand for our skills, and we anticipate employer demand to increase into the latter part of 2016 as planned projects get underway. These projects include school and hospital projects, powerhouse expansion and maintenance, as well as heavy rigging.

Our apprentice training school is organized with four one-week blocks of formal training during the year. Because of the area our jurisdiction covers, we have a sub-office in Wyoming that offers live-in apprentice training three days a week.

We are well paid, and members enjoy a good health & welfare plan and a defined benefit pension plan, both of which are employer-paid.

We always work safe!

Men and women ironworkers and apprentices who are not working for a union employer are welcome to apply.

Come work with the best!
