Syracuse’s ironworkers are a busy bunch, and the expectation is that they will continue to be busy.

The mixed Local does all kinds of reinforcing and structural ironwork, from footings and foundations to structural construction and maintenance work on projects at the many universities and colleges in our area, as well as on municipal infrastructure projects.

On our upcoming list is a 5- to 10-year $2 Billion freeway interchange, a $250 million Syracuse University Stadium dome replacement and covering and various projects at breweries, fruit and vegetable processing plants and the huge Fort Drum Army Base.

Our 270 members are paid well, and our families enjoy the protection of strong employer-paid health & welfare and defined benefit pension plans.

We always work safe!

If you’re a non-union man or woman ironworker or apprentice, we welcome your application.

Come work with the Best!
