Our 750 member Brooklyn/Queens Local is a structural-only Local with good reason to look toward solid employer demand over the next 5 to 8 years.

We’re working with our sister Local 40 in New York City on a major continuing series of bridge and infrastructure rehabilitation projects.

Our project labor agreement with the NYC school system gives us all the rehab and new construction work in a continuing $9 billion school improvement program.

And we’re honored to be the skilled structural steel workers who will help replace the huge La Guardia Airport Terminal B in a massive $4 Billion re-construction project over the next 5 to 8 years.

We are paid very well. We enjoy the protection of strong employer-paid health & welfare and defined benefit pension plans.

And we always work safe!

If you’re a man or woman ironworker or apprentice who is currently working for a non-union employer, you’re welcome to apply.

Come work with the best!
