The 685 active members of Cincinnati Local 44 spend the majority of their time on structural, ornamental and reinforcing ironwork, as well as machinery moving projects.

We currently have a strong need for experienced structural ironworkers.

We’re now working on $2.3 billion worth of projects, including a power house, several new large blast furnaces, industrial construction and maintenance projects, a $300 million Proctor & Gamble project, and lots of new other kinds of buildings, as well as roadway infrastructure like overpasses and bridges.

Right now, we're solidy booked for work through 2019, and provided the industry remains busy (especially with future infrastructure projects) we anticipate demand to continue well past 2019.

Local 44’s apprenticeship school has intakes in April and July.We have lots of opportunity for experienced ironworker on a probationary basis.

Members enjoy the stability that comes with high-quality, 100% employer-paid health & welfare and defined benefit pension plans.

Apprentice and experienced ironworkers who are not currently represented by a union are welcome to apply!

Come work with the best!
