We’re a mixed structural/reinforcing Local whose members do almost all of the aspects of ironwork.

Among other kinds, our employers do projects involving bridge and roadway construction, the construction of the USA’s largest inland port (which involves 1 million square feet of warehousing), and maintenance, expansion and new construction work at sites like our three nuclear power plants, two petrochemical refineries, and many chemical and manufacturing plants.

In the summer of 2017 we were emerging from a moderately slow period in which a few of our members were out of work, but as we move into 2018, we’re hopeful that several wind farm projects and a couple of large distribution centres move ahead.

Formal apprentice training operates 2 to 3 evenings a week, September to May.

We are very well paid, and we enjoy employer-paid health & welfare and defined benefit pension plans. We always work safe!

We welcome applications from men and women ironworkers and apprentices who are currently working for non-union employers.

Come work with the best!
