Orlando’s union ironworkers work on some of the USA’s most unique construction projects.

Our employers are busy working on expansion, new construction and/or maintenance at major entertainment attractions – like Disneyworld, Universal Studios, Seaworld, and the soon-to-come Star Wars.

On any given day, you can find us building a huge roller coaster, or working way atop a tower at Kennedy Space Centre. We are currently building a series of shuttle pads at the space centre which will be used by future commercial space flights.

The union expects employer demand for our skills to remain solid for the next 5 to 7 years.

Our members enjoy the stability that comes with a defined benefit pension and a health & welfare plan that are both 100% employer-paid. We also have a defined contribution annuity plan.

Our training school operates journeyman upgrading courses that follow public school timing, and it runs 10-week summer apprenticeship formal training periods.

We welcome applications from men and women ironworkers and apprentices who are currently not working with a union employer.

Come work with the best!
