Members of Ironworkers Local 787 Parkersburg are looking forward to increasing employer demand for their skills later in 2016 and all the way into 2017.

The area is home to many large steel, chemical and other kinds of manufacturing plants, so plenty of the expected future work is maintenance.

The local operates an apprenticeship training school.
