Huge Shell Cracker Project needs Structural, Welders, Rodmen!
Pittsburgh Local 3 needs hundreds of people to fill positions at Shell's massive Cracker Plant project, a megaproject that currently may well be the country's largest. We have a couple of hundred structural ironworkers on site now, but by the end of 2018, we'll need 650, plus lots more rodmen and welders.
